CAS Initiative - Extending the AGI
About the Accessible Games Initiative The idea for the Accessible Games Initiative (AGI) was first developed by Electronic Arts,
Google, Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Ubisoft. Their goal is to
improve players’ gameplay experiences by providing a set of tags to help people identify
accessibility features in games. Details on which tags exist and what each tag means are
available on their website. Click here to read more
Our Goal Our goal is to extend the existing Accessible Games Initiative tags into the realm of
Extended Reality (XR) applications — not only to promote inclusivity and accessibility in
immersive digital experiences, but also to emphasize the need for comfort and safety tags
alongside the accessibility ones.
About this Web Application This web application is a prototype developed to explore the use of accessibility tagging in
Extended Reality (XR) content. It allows users to browse a selection of mock XR
applications, using a filtering system based on the accessibility, comfort, and safety tags
inspired by AGI tags. Additionally, users can contribute by leaving reviews that include
personal accessibility-related attributes — such as specific impairments — to help others
better evaluate each application's suitability for them.
